Claire Clayton (Hannah George) Costume

This is the costume which Hannah George who plays Claire Clayton wears whilst filming. For the Mise-en-Scene on the filming we need to ensure that the costume stays the same through-out filming. The outfit consists of Leggings and boots with a Vest-Top and Hoody. This is typical of the teenage girl we wish to portray in the movie. Hannah also wears make-up and has her hair straightened.

Props

As a group we have brought a tube of Fake Blood to use whilst filming from the shop 'chameleon fancy dress' in Kettering Town Centre. I have also added a picture of the props which Hannah George (Claire Clayton) wears during the filming.

Filming

Today our Filming went well, we managed to achieve many shots using the fake blood and shot the last of our Outdoor shots, this was essential as it is starting to get dark later, and soon it will be too light to continue with our continuity. We next plan to film on Thursday the 27th we plan for this to be our last session of filming, we then need to alter our storyboards as our filming no longer matches the original plan due to problems found when filming. Such as background noise and dialogue.

Filming

Our previous filming went well, we managed to complete all the frames we wanted to achieve. We next plan to film on the 20th of January. During this time we plan to continue filming our outside shots and start to use the Fake Blood to create more gorey scary shots.

Filming

After having issues with the continuity of our film due to Christmas decorations. We plan to start filming this evening (12th January 2011)
Between 3:30pm and 5:30pmtoday we plan to film all the outside parts of our opening. Using the Garden and Drive.

Certificate 15

The British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) are a company which give each film its certificate. As we are aiming to make our horror film a 15 certificate, this will suit our target audience of 'teen horror' I have done some research into what can and can't show in our horror opening, using the the BBFCs website (http://www.bbfc.co.uk/)
A 15 certificate film is a film which can only be viewed by 15 and overs at the cinema or brought or rented. The film must not endorse discriminatory language or behaviour. Drug taking may be shown in the film but must not promote or encourage drug missuse, and the misuse of highly dangerous and easily acessable drugs such as solvents is unlikely to be accepted. Horror is allowed aslong as the horror isnt sadistic or sexualised. If imitable behaviour is shown it must not be glamorised and the film should not dwell on detail allowing people to be able to understand how to perform these acts on themselves. Strong language may be allowed aslong as their is not frequent use of the words and their is not use of the more stronger words. Their are no constrants on nudity in a 15 certificate film. Sexual activity may be portrayed with too much detail, and sexual acts may be spoke about, however the stronger references are unlikely to be accepted unless justified by the context. Strong violence is allowed in the film but as with the other titles the film cannot focus on the content for too long or go into detail.

With all this detail taken into account i believe our horror film will definatly not exceed the 15 certificate limit.
